Back on-line and better able to navigate, we headed south and out of Buenos Aires. We soon realized how big Buenos Aires is and were surprised by a really heavy thunderstorm which really didn’t make things better. But after a while we reached more rural areas. And following Google Maps indications (for the record we also use old-fashioned maps), we soon were surprised by finding ourselves on a soaked and muddy dirt road after the heavy rain…..
It was all an alternative and challenging exit from the Argentine capital, later explained by a Google Maps mis setting (the app was programmed for no tolls and no highways) explaining how our directions led us through farming fields and rather interesting non-paved neighborhoods – so interesting that we at one point in time were glad it was still light. Anyway, we soon headed full steam south on Route 3.
