We have now been three days in El Calafate – a beautiful and tourist-friendly – but expensive, small town located next to Lake Argentina. We are taking a brief rest from our camping lifestyle and instead staying in a cottage. Also, due to a steady wind, the indoor and under-a-roof-solution works out wonderfully compared to our roof-top tent. We are also taking advantage of cleaning our hiking clothes, enjoying beds and hot showers for a few days. In short, resting a little 😊.
We are also using the chance to catch up, work a little and plan the route and activities for the days ahead. Tomorrow, we’ll head towards the Perito Moreno glacier and spend most of the day there. We did as planned and below follow photos from our visit.

Then the plan is to continue north in direction of El Chaltén, reportedly the hiking capital of Patagonia.
