Valle Hermoso

Valle Hermoso is located high up in the Andes about 28 km west of Las Lenas ski resort.  

Here we stayed 2 days – hiking and relaxing in the beautiful natural setting. Yes, everything was working out perfectly, until the wind gradually gained force during the 2^nd days’ early evening.

During the night we had an extremely strong wind – until about 0500 in the morning – when suddenly the calm returned as if switched off my magic. Incredibly, we had breakfast in the sun a few hours later, though tired after a night of little sleep (little sleep because the wind was so strong that the heavy land cruiser moved in the wind gusts.
